Lieutenant Gina Johnson Nevada Highway Patrol

Lieutenant Gina M Johnson is currently assigned as the Statewide Commercial Enforcement operations and DPS Fleet Commander. She also assumes duties relative to an on the job work program for an injured officer. She began her career with the Nevada Highway Patrol in March of 1991. She served the first 14 years of her career in the Las Vegas area before taking her current assignment.

During her tenure with the Division, Lieutenant Johnson has been assigned to traffic operations, administrative operations, served as a field training officer, and the training coordinator for the Southern Command.

She was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 2001 where she was assigned to urban operations in Las Vegas, then later became the Administrative Sergeant. In September of 2004, she was promoted to Lieutenant where she served as the Swing Shift operations Commander and later served as the Executive Officer to the Deputy Chief for the Southern Command.
