Lieutenant STEPHANIE BIVENS

Lieutenant Stephanie Bivens is currently assigned as the Traffic Operations Lieutenant for the Wells, Elko, Battle Mountain and Winnemucca District Offices. She joined the Department of Public Safety in 1998 as Parole and Probation Officer in Elko. Lieutenant Bivens’ pervious assignments included court services, field training officer, training coordinator, supervised the sex offender and house arrest programs. She promoted to Lieutenant and transferred to the Nevada Highway Patrol on March 26, 2007. Lieutenant Bivens is a 1994 graduate of California State University Fresno with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and a graduate of Northwestern University, Center for Public Safety, School of Police Staff and Command class #265.
