Sergeant Tony Sabino
Pilot Sergeant Tony Sabino has been with the NHP since 1996. Prior to entering law
enforcement, Sgt. Sabino served as a Commercial glider pilot and Flight Instructor
for Soar Minden. During that time, he accumulated over 800 hours flying high
performance gliders. He is also a certified tow pilot. Sgt. Sabino began flying part
time for the NHP in 1998 in addition to his duties as a Commercial Enforcement Officer.
He has been the Southern Command's full time pilot
flying the Cessna Skylane since 2003. Sgt. Sabino has accumulated over 2500 flight hours.
In addition to his glider ratings, Sgt. Sabino is a Commercial Pilot with an Instrument rating
in single engine aircraft.
