Star (* ) NHP is a cellular phone line used by motorists to report drunk drivers, traffic crashes, stranded or disabled motorists, or any suspicious incidents occurring on any of Nevada's roadways.

The call is free of charge and the call rings directly into the nearest Nevada Highway Patrol station. This service is being provided by all participating cellular companies operating in Nevada.
